PILP's goals are three-fold: (1) to provide summer awards to students working in public interest law; (2) to support loan repayment for graduates entering public interest professions; and (3) to help promote careers, education, and opportunities in public interest law on campus and in the community.

Your donation will help provide opportunities to students and serve the public interest  by:

-Promoting volunteerism and community involvement among law students

-Connecting nonprofits and other public interest organizations with Lewis & Clark Law School students and alumni, laying the foundation for a lifetime of public interest and pro bono service, through Loan Repayment Assistance and Summer Award Programs

-Providing students with experience and inspiration to support people and causes that are traditionally underrepresented
