Your Sponsorship Journey and its Impact

At PILP, our sponsorship levels have always been tied to the stipend amount we provide to our law students. In previous years, our maximum stipend was set at $5,000, directly mirrored in the sponsorship tiers available to our donors.

Last year, acknowledging the rising cost of living and the continuing challenges of unpaid work, we took a momentous step forward. We increased our stipend to $6,500, ensuring that students dedicating their time to public interest work over the summer truly receive a livable wage. This timely adjustment not only reflects our commitment to adapt but also our deep-seated pledge to champion the well-being of our students, allowing them to fully focus on their work without financial hurdles.
